Environmental measures

Before, during and after the event, water, shoreline, service zones and waste handling are monitored.

Environmental monitoring

In line with UIM requirements, the organizers plan open monitoring of water and shoreline conditions.

The following initiatives will be implemented as part of the stage in Kyrgyzstan:

Tree planting

Compensatory tree planting and site greening as part of the stage's long-term environmental program.

Shoreline cleanup

Cleaning coastal areas before and after the event to keep Issyk-Kul's territory clean for guests and residents.

Zero-waste approach

Separate waste collection, reduction of single-use plastic and more responsible handling of temporary infrastructure.

Open environmental monitoring

Monitoring water, shoreline and technical zones before, during and after the stage.

International environmental initiatives

Connecting the local stage with environmental programs by H2O Racing, UIM and international partners.

Park construction

A new green area by the water with paths, planting, rest zones and infrastructure that will remain after the event.

Lake-bottom cleanup

Divers and volunteers will clean the underwater area to reduce pressure on the Issyk-Kul ecosystem.

Underwater eco-action

A dedicated action with underwater specialists: collecting waste, inspecting the lake bed and protecting the aquatic environment.
